Project done!

I recently finished the film, after integrating the sound mix, including music by Adam Selzer, from my sound editor, Dave Huston, and have begun submitting to festivals. Check back here for news of screenings.

In the meantime:

• I will be posting more reflective and personal pieces on my Wordpress blog, A Weird Fish, starting with this post.
• I have moved my video hub from blip.tv to Vimeo. You can still view my work at blip, but check my Vimeo page for new and updated video postings.
• The project also has an IMDB page.

Work in progress screening

In March, I screened some work in progress footage from the documentary at a Public Library Association preconference on librarians and comics. The video portion of the presentation is posted on blip.tv.

Following the tape review

Initial progress note, summer 2009

With the academic year at Western Oregon done, I am able to turn to substantial work on the documentary. The approximately nineteen hours of tape I recorded last summer have mostly been logged, there's about four hours left to go, and I will start reviewing tape next week. I will post progress reports here throughout the summer and more wide ranging discussions of the project on Mediated Worlds.
